The Demwave is a Gsm controller. It has been designed in South Africa to supply support at a local base. It is desgned to react to inputs outputs or any programmed event. this information can be transmitted back to the user as well as giving a output to a relay to cause a event
The unit can transmit and recieve data via GPRS to a website or via SMS. The data that can be transmitted is what input has been triggered and/or what value of the analog value. All values can be modified via gprs or SMS. To trigger an output can be triggered by sending a missed call or a SMS.
All input can be programmed to be as a seperate inpute to trigger a relay output or when recieving an input trigger an SMS with a dedicated message to any preprogrammed cel pone number
All outputs can be programmed to to be triggered by a single input or by a combination of inputs be it digital inputs or analog inputs. The outputs can be programmed to trigger on an event or a timed event or forced to be on or off.
The analog inputs can be programmed to trigger when it is below a set value or above or if it is outside a the high or low value. There are the following inputs: one input for 4-20mA input. One for pt100 (temperature sensor to measure 0-400 degree celsuis) and 7 inputs to measure 0-10vdc).
The are four analog outputs that can be programmed to give fixed outputs from 0vdc to 10vdc.
The unit has a USB port to set up all these paramiters with a simpe and easy program that can be downloaded for free from this website.
The unit comes with a SD card that can log all transaction including log of transmitting an sms to a preprogrammed receiver as well as storing time that the reciver sends an acknowlegde. This unit because of its low power consubtion can be use in remote areas where there is no power but is covered by one of the cel phone networks (by fitting a solar charging circuit the system )

- 4 relay outputs contact rating is 10amps @ 220vac (expandable by another 3 relays)

- Any action can be time/date stamped
- All transactions can be stored onto a SD card for logging purposes
